Ministries Of The Church From A Biblical Standpoint
Ministries in the Church From a Biblical Standpoint Eston Racey THEO 202-001 March 10, 2017 The topic discussed in this paper is the doctrine of the ministries of the church. This doctrine informs of the different services and resources performed or distributed by the church. Whether being the church as a whole or on the local level of the community and the world. This topic, though it may seem relatively simple on the surface, is very important. There are many different interpretations and practices of how the church should or should not perform ministry. A clear understanding of the surrounding people and culture, as well as biblical truth is required or chaos and disunity will be the outcome. This is seen clearly in Mathew 28:19-20, as Jesus is addressing His followers instructing them to go out into the world and make disciples of Him. This command was not just in regardââ¬â¢s to the original twelve disciples but a command for all believers to come. Ministry has no perfect formula or model that all churches or believers should follow. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 in short says, that their is one true God who has given everyone different abilities, gifts, and purposes. These things allow each person to minister in different ways and spread His Word. So in essence not only is everyone called to minister and share the gospel, but also everyone will share biblical truth in the way God intend them to. Believers must allow God to work through them and take hold of the unique traits He has gifted to each individual, so that His Word may be spread. Throughout the different periods in church history: The Ancient Church (100 AD-590 AD), The Medieval Church (590-1570 AD), The Reformation and Counter Reformation (1570-1648AD) and The Modern Church (1648-present), the church has developed many different ways of interpreting what scripture said and how to apply it to church ministry. The Ancient Church (100-590 AD), refers to the era directly after Jesusââ¬â¢ crucifixion and ascension into Heaven. My Writing And Oral Communication - 1551 Words
Communication is Key I have been told and even noticed throughout the years of struggling with using the appropriate words to get my point across. At a young age we are taught the importance of oral, written and reading communication and yet I lack the interest of understanding the true concept. I have a problem with comprehending what I have read which ultimately has an impact on my writing and oral communication. I noticed this was a problem when I can literally get frustrated at the listener for not understanding what Iââ¬â¢m explaining to them. Animal Farm And Totalitarianism Essay Example For Students
Animal Farm And Totalitarianism Essay Totalitarianism has become a fact that can hardly be ignored. During World War II when Hitler had total control to the Russia of Stalin and later Soviet leaders. For many years people have dreamed or believed in the perfect society of mandkind and of an ultimate utopia, a world where we can live together in peace. George Orwell expresses a different kind of view for the future of mankind, a view where freedom is limited, total control and there isnt any sign of hope or peace. George Orwell expresses his totalitarianism and communist view of the world in his work Animal Farm. Power was emphasized in his work Animal Farm. Orwell set a political satire and an allegory. He used animals to represent the government. The pigs were the one with all the power. Orwell gave the pigs the brain and the rest of the animals practically slaves of the pigs. The more power the pigs had the more power the pigs wanted: This is demonstrated by the continuity between Mr. Jones, the original proprietor of the farm, and Napoleon, the young boar who contrive to drive out snowball, the only competing boar on the premises, and assumed Joness former position as well as that of Major, The old patriarch. Pati 215. Orwell makes it explicit that the struggles goes on between the only two boars among the pigs. Napoleon ran out Snowball in order to take total control of the farm, and to run his totalitarianism rule over the animals. Presently the tumult died down. The four pigs waited, trembling, with guilt written on every line of their countenances. Napoleon now called upon them to confess their crimes. They were the same four pigs as had protested when Napoleon abolished the Sunday Meetings. Without any further prompting they confessed that they had been secretly in touch with Snowball ever since his expulsion, that they had collaborated with him in destroying the windmill, and that they had entered into an agreement with him to hand over Animal Farm to Mr. Frederick. They added that Snowball had privately admitted to them that he had been Joness secret agent for years past. When they had finished their confession, the dogs promptly tore their throats out, and in a terrible voice Napoleon demanded whether any other animal had anything to confess.Bloom 18. The pigs then gradually show human characteristic. First by sleeping in bed, then by drinking. The pigs had the farm in their hands. Orwell did this to show how come of the animals were unequal to the pigs. The role or rank that the characters play determine the special privil eges they have. Napoleon traded eggs, milk and other things with the humans just to provide for the pigs. He left the other animals with old dried out food. Napoleon contradicted himself, but later on he changed the commandments and made it look like it was good business to trade with the humans. Orwell showed how powerful Napoleon has become. Napoleon lied,Ã stole, and made empty promises and gotten away with it. The Seven commandments was like a brain washing tool the pigs used to get the rest of the animals to follow. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. No animal shall wear clothes. No animal shall sleep in a bed. No animal shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal. All animal are equal. This unalterable law provides the major structural basis for the rest of the animal. From this point on the plot reveals a gradual alteration of these commandments, ending in the well-known contradiction that epitomizes the new nature of the farm at the end of the book. The commandments change throughout the story. The changes were only made to benefits the pigs and only the pigs. .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .postImageUrl , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:hover , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:visited , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:active { border:0!important; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:active , .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4 .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ub0ee1a9fbe39cee85d12c39b103bddf4:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Time Stood Still by William Stanley EssayThe other animals werent surprise or didnt care much for the change just as long they had gotten their share of food. Totalitarianism and a little bit of communism were notice able in the farm. The capability of the pigs, and their management, is reflected in the success of the farm. There its no wastage, no stealing. It is the biggest harvest in the farmss history; in addition, though the animals work hard, there is no leisure. Each animal works according to his capacityBloom 15. No matter how hard each animal works they still get the same amount of food they had gotten ever since Animal Farm was born. Orwell stressed the total con trol the pigs have over the rest of the animals. Most of the animals do not know how to read or spell, maybe just a few words and their name. The pigs on the other hand, taught them self how to read and write, therefore they developed a way to think and understand how to communicate to the other animals so it would be in their benefits. Orwell was too a rebel First, Orwell was a rebel with a remarkably strong sense of responsibility. When he was a child, he revolted against the religious teaching and discipline of his school. The mature equivalents of his boy hood feelings were his hostile attitudes toward organized religion and toward social, political, and cultural authority. Orwell thought, the churches were demoralizing; as moral and political forces, they were puritanic and reactionary; as a spiritual force, they were worthless Vorhees 56. Animal Farm had a destructive ending. The ending shred the freedom and the equality of the animals to pieces. Orwell shoed the pwor of totalitarianism and what chaos and horror it could bring. Mankinds future in Orwells eyes was not a good one. We may say that is was on his affirmation of the middle-class virtues that Orwell based his criticism of the liberal intelligenstia. The characteristic error of the middle-class intellectual of modern times is his tendency to abstractness and absoluteness, his reluctance to connect idea with fact,Ã especially with personal fact Bloom 37. Orwell expresses his totalitarian and communist view of the world in his work Animal Farm. Orwells view of society in general was that of his own experience with the world. People know that totalitarian governments always fall down after a period of time. That history will probably never be repeated again. Hopefully it wont happen in our life time. Communist is a government that is said to be equal, but under blanket of the public eye is a very corrupt government and unequal society. You might work harder than the person next to you but you still going to get pay the same amount no matter how hard or how less you work. It doesnt matter what kind of job you have, the only thing that matter is that if you are willing and able to work and represent the communist country. If the people dont obey or oppose the government, they shall be executed. Us Americans take our rights for granted, other countries can only dream about having our rights and freedom.

The River Rouge Manufacturing Complex. Essay Example For Students
The River Rouge Manufacturing Complex. Essay The first piece of material I gathered was a picture via the internet. Thispicture is of the River Rouge assembly plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Thispicture shows the manufacturing of the fender for a Ford Motor Company product. It also shows the facilities of the Rouge plant and how the plant it self wasstate of the art. This plant was the largest of its kind at the time of its construction. TheFord Motor Company at the time was one of the leaders in labor relations. Thispicture shows the size of the plant as well as the working conditions in thefacility. We will write a custom essay on The River Rouge Manufacturing Complex. specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now When viewing the photograph you can see the array of pipes and collectiondevices to aid in the circulation of air and the collection of dust and otherby products made in the plant. The next component I found is another picture of the interior of the Rougeplant. This picture is one of many conveyer belts in the plant. This belt ismoving engine parts from the engine assembly to the final assembly. Henry Fordwas a pioneer in the use of the assembly line in the automobile industry, andthe Rouge plant was the ultimate in that use of the assembly line. This photoshows the depth of the plant, being able to manufacture all components of thecars without having to ship parts to or from other locations in the country. The next collection of photographs is of the exterior of the Rouge plant. These photos were obtained from the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. These pictures are of the Rouge during the switch of all production, from theHighland Park plant, to the Rouge. It was also the time that the Model A wasbeginning production. This collection shows examples of four exterior views of the plant, allude tothe many different factories within the Rouge plant. The Rouge was a steelmill, a foundry, a power producer and, an assembly line. This all encompassingidea helped ford relegate all aspects of the production of their product. Along with the exterior, the interior showed the extent of the all encompassingRouge plant. The interior photographs, which were also care of the Henry FordMuseum, show more factories within the factory. For example, the four photosin this collection display metal forming, and metallurgical operations. Thesepictures included forging, the blast furnaces, removal of slag and, evensalvaging scrap from metal ships. The interior had two collections to view and the second reaffirmed what thefirst portrayed. The second collection displays more metal working productionincluding the hydraulic shear, which was used for sheet metal, the open hearthladle and the hearth building. These photos gave an impressive direction ofthe inner workings of the Rouge plant. As said before the Rouge was the largest manufacturing complex in the nationwhen it was built. An aerial photograph of the plant reaffirms that fact. Thephoto was taken in 1930 and you can see by the photo the plant is veryimpressive. The caption that accompanies the picture gives an actual figure ofthe Rouges square footage, the total is 6,952,484 square feet. Before the Rouge plant Fords main manufacturing plant was Highland Park. TheRouge and Highland Park were similar in the way of utilizing the assembly lineto produce the Ford product. Many collections of photos were found of theassembly line at Highland. One collection shows the final mating of the modelT, which is similar to the final mating of the model A . Also the one dayproduction of the Highland Park plant, which was dwarfed by the Rouge one dayproduction total. .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .postImageUrl , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:hover , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:visited , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:active { border:0!important; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:active , .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u87023e3b53be77961d39dbf51aed5d5a:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Knowledge Essay SummaryThe next collection of Highland Park photos displays the typical procedures ininstalling components to the automobile. This page has a link to an informational page on the Rouge plant. Theplant is listed as a national landmark since 1978 and a Michigan landmark since1976. Also listed on the site is the date the property was bought by HenryFord and, the date all production was shifted from Highland Park to the Rougecomplex. A significant statement is given about the Rouge on the marvel of itscreation and the full integration of all aspects of automobile manufacturing toachieve vertical integration and self sufficiency. In conclusion the River Rouge manufacturing complex in Dearborn, Michigan wasand is one of the great marvels of the early twentieth century. LDH Purification lab Report Essays
LDH Purification lab Report Essays LDH Purification lab Report Paper LDH Purification lab Report Paper OLD was purified from the ammonium sulfate precipitated protein mixture by affinity chromatography and its activity was studied by spectrophotometers determination of NADIA at 340 NM. From Pierce BCC assay of crude homogenate, initial protein concentration was shown to be 100 MGM/ml. The final protein concentration of the pooled affinity sample was shown to be 0. 2 MGM/ml. It was found that the total specific activity of OLD was 58. 5 mol/min/MGM, and yield of 0. 6%. Even though we were successful in purifying OLD enzyme, further steps can be taken to increase the yield. Materials and Methods Cell Lysine and Extraction of OLD: Approximately 40 g of minced chicken breast eat (40. 327 g) is blended with ml cold extraction buffer in four 30-seconds bursts for homogenate of the muscle tissue. The extraction buffer contained mm Tries-HCI (pH-7. 4), mm 2-Merchantable, mm Phenylmethylsulfonylflouride (AMPS), 1 mm Ethylene Dianne attracted acid (EDIT). The homogeneities procedure was carried out in the cold room to prevent the denomination of proteins. The homogenate was centrifuged at 15,000 RPM for 20 minutes at 40 C. The supernatant was filtered through two layers of cheesecloth to remove lipids from the supernatant. The total volume was noted and three 0. Ml aliquots (crude extract) were stored at -200 C. Ammonium sulfate precipitation: 60% ammonium sulfate concentration was used to precipitate proteins. 0. 39 g of ammonium sulfate per ml of the supernatant was added gradually to the supernatant for 15-20 min with continuous gentle stirring at 40 C. The mixture was centrifuged for 20 minutes at 1 5,000 RPM at 40 C. The supernatant was discarded and the pellet was stored at -200 c. Dialysis: Ammonium precipitation leads to high concentration of salts in protein mixture that can interfere with further purification steps. In order to remove excess salts, dialysis was performed. The pellet was suspended in Tries-AMPS buffer (10 rim Tries-HCI, pH 8. 6, 0. 5 mm 2-Merchantable, and mm ratio of EDIT) and mixed very gently until it dissolved at 40 C. Volume of ml protein mixture was added in the dialysis tubing and incubated twice overnight with two IL buffer changes (Same buffer as extraction buffer that was used for cell lysine). After two incubation, protein mixture was responded gently and centrifuged for 10 minutes at 15,RPM at ICC. Pellet was discarded, total volume of supernatant was noted and three 0. 1 ml aliquots were collected. Affinity Chromatography: Isobaric Blue column was used to separate OLD from the other proteins. Ml fractions were collected in thirteen test tubes. Column was first rinsed with Tries-AMPS buffer followed by addition of protein mixture. Then, ml AND Buffer (mm Tries-HCI pH-8. 6, 0. Mm 2-Merchantable, mm Lithium acetate and 1 mm AND+) was added followed by NADIA (mm Its- HCI PH 8. 6, mm NADIA and 0. Mm 2-Merchantable). Between each steps, column was washed with ml Tries-AMPS Buffer. Each fraction was subjected to absorbency reading of Mann. For absorbency above 1. NM, 1:10 dilutions were carried out. Activity Assay: We used OLD Enzyme assay to measure the amount of OLD activity in our protein mixture. OLD catalysts the conversion of lactate to private and AND+ to NADIA. The NADI A can be determined spectrophotometers at 340 NM. The OLD assay was performed in the crude homogenate, desalted fraction and six peak fractions from the Isobaric blue column. A cocktail solution was prepared by mixing lactate stock solution (120 rim lithium lactate, 10 mm Tries-HCI; pH 8. 6), AND+ stock solution (12 mm AND+, 10 mm Tries HCI; pH 8. 6) and bicarbonate stock solution (18 mm Enhance, 0. 5 M Nasal) in the ratio of in cavetti. 0 micrometers of the sample is then added and the assay absorption is measured at Mann. If absorbency was above 1. 5, samples were diluted. Protein Assay: The Pierce BCC Protein Assay (Thermo Scientific) is a detergent- compatible formulation based on bioscience acid (BCC) for the colorimetric detection and quantization of total protein concentration. A series of standard solution of Bovine Serum Albumin (BAS) ranging from 0-2000 pig/ml was prepared from a stock solution of 2 MGM/ml BAS. Lull of diluted crude (1:500, 1 :250), desalted (1:100, 1:50), and 6 peak fractions from isobaric blue column (1:10, 1:5) ere loaded in microscope along with lull of BCC working reagent. Microscope was incubated for mini at ICC and then the absorbency was measured at Mann. Results/Discussion The purpose of this experiment was to extract and purify OLD enzyme from chicken muscle tissue using a variety of techniques including homogeneities, ammonium sulfate precipitation, dialysis, and affinity chromatography. Activity and Protein assay were used to track the overall amount of OLD present in the samples. Crude Extraction: Chicken muscle tissue was homogeneity in a blender with cold extraction buffer in order to else cells, releasing OLD into slurry of tissue monuments. Centrifugation separated membranes, nuclei, and other large cellular components to a pellet leaving a supernatant of crude product. Controlling temperature was a major consideration after homogeneities since not only did this step releases proteins like OLD from the cell, but it also releases proteases that can now interact to degrade the OLD. Keeping samples on ice, pre-cooling the buffer, and avoiding excess kinetic energy through conservative blending were methods used to minimize activity of these proteases. After filtration through cheesecloth, our final volume of crude homogenate sample ml, much more volume than expected. Addition of more than ml of buffer volume could have increased the volume. Other possible explanation is that more solid components such as fats were present in the sample and hence, more than 20 minutes of centrifugation was required. Desalted Sample: 60% ammonium sulfate is added to the crude extract that precipitates OLD proteins. The resulting 40% pellet theoretically contains most of the original OLD, which is re-suspended in very less volume (ml) to create a more concentrated sample. This process leads to high concentration of salts in rotten mixture that can interfere with subsequent purification steps. Ml protein mixture underwent dialysis procedure that removes excess salts and our final volume after dialysis was ml. One possible explanation for increase in our volume could be that extraction buffer got mixed with protein mixture either due to tubing leaking or tubing clips not being properly tightened. Affinity Chromatography: Isobaric Blue column is an affinity column, which is specific to dehydrogenate type proteins, due to a compound structurally similar to NADIA being attached covalently attached to the column. 13 fractions were elected and absorbency was measured at Mann to check presence of OLD protein in the fractions. 1:10 dilution was performed if absorbency reading was above 1. NM since it spectrographically indicates saturation and less than 1% light reaching the detector. During the addition of protein mixture (fraction# 4), high absorbency reading of NM was obtained (Fig. 1). This could be due to lot of non-dehydrogenate-type proteins present in our sample that got eluted first during affinity chromatography. Second peak was seen after AND+ was added since AND solution results in the removal of the loosely bound protein. Third peak was seen after NADIA was added since NADIA solution results in release of maximum OLD proteins (Fig l) Enzyme Activity Assay: The OLD activity was measured spectrophotometers by measuring the absorbency of NADIA at 340 NM. Three peak fractions were selected for this assay based on their absorbency values obtained after adding AND+ (fraction# 6, 7, 8) and other three after adding NADIA in the affinity chromatography step (fraction# 10, 1 1 , 12). A huge activity of 141 mol/min/ml was seen at fraction# 7(PUFF ) which indicated that we had lot of proteins present in our sample. Second peak activity was seen t fraction indicating that more OLD proteins is present in this fraction than in fraction# 11 (PUFF) (fig. 1). Based on this information, we selected fraction #10 as for our protein assay. Desalted showed highest activity among all the samples (Tablet ) possible due to errors occurring during dialysis explained previously. Figure 1. Absorbency readings of eluted obtained from affinity chromatography with OLD activity for 6 peak fractions. The desalted fraction was loaded to the Isobaric blue column and proteins were eluted with Tries-AMPS, AND+ and NADIA wash subsequently. The absorbency at 280 NM of eluted were measured after ACH collected fractions. The OLD activity was calculated from the absorbency values obtained at Mann. Protein Assay: We used BCC Pierce Assay to determine protein concentrations in our protein mixture. BAS standard curve was created for series of dilutions ranging from 0-2000 pig/ml and linear graph equation was used to calculate protein concentrations for the samples (Table 1). Based on Table 1, with each subsequent purification step, protein concentration decreases as sample become more concentrated with only OLD protein. Specific activity should increase and total activity should decrease with very purification step as samples get less and less diluted.

Our Top Traffic Data After analyzing our posts, the following data was found from our top ten highest-traffic posts: What can we draw from the data we found? Every post that ranked on the first page of Google was over 2,000 words. Comprehensive content (which usually needs to be long) ranks well because it helps search engines offer users a complete answer to the query. If the reader doesn't need to bounce back to the search engine to read another post, then the search engine has succeeded. So, help Google, help you. However, just because a post is long, it doesnââ¬â¢t mean it will rank well. Parti5-comments2 Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words
Parti5-comments2 - Essay Example A good cause and effect essay should move beyond establishing what the two parts are, and should also make an argument for why the cause and effect are directly related. The purpose of a cause and effect essay is to make an argument, not just to describe a process. The writer should prove the relationship of the cause and effect, and therefore have a thesis in the essay. The writer canââ¬â¢t just tell the reader the focus of the essay, because having a focus or purpose that is solely to explain a cause and effect will leave the reader disinterested. Overall, asking questions about the cause and effect process is a good way to develop the essay, but answering those questions persuasively is even more important. The reader dos not just want to know the reason why the effect happened is because of the cause, but also if there are alternative causes or alternative effects that may disprove the usual idea of any cause and effect. The essay should not just analyze or inform, but should convey an argument and prove to the reader that the cause and effect are

Data Analysis Skills for Economics and Accountancy Essay
Data Analysis Skills for Economics and Accountancy - Essay Example Similarly, a higher inflation can also signify that the economy is plunged into a debilitating recession, thus in both cases it is unclear to deduce which country has got a hand over the other. The above histogram describes the number of hours spent on average using a microcomputer in week by the users. Sample population comprises of 370 individuals which is enough to find the normality of the sample data. The histogram has a mean of 10.41 which implies that on average each user spends 10.41 hours in a week on the computer. The standard deviation of 8.993 which is very high and close to the mean value reveals that there are a lot of values which are deviating from the standard mean. These deviations are the outlier which can be confirmed by the maximum value (outlier) of 78. The data set has a range of 78 which implies that the difference between the maximum and minimum value of 78. The distribution of the above graph can not be certainly described as a normal one because it has too many outliers but it can be classified as skewed to left. After classifying the dataset into groups of 15 units we have divided the answers into categories ranging from very high to very low. Since the chi-square tests shows that the asymptotic significance value of 0.653 is greater than the significance level of 0.10 therefore we reach to a conclusion that gender does not affects the time spent by the

Aristotle Paper- Distinguishing the Definition Essay Example for Free
Aristotle Paper- Distinguishing the Definition Essay ââ¬Å"A definition is an account, and every account has parts, and part of the account stands to part of the thing in just the same way that the whole account stands to the whole thingâ⬠(Aristotle 1034b20-22). This quote is how Aristotle defines a definition. So a definition is the statement of the essence of something. Defining something consists of starting with a genus and then breaking it down into species. A genus is a kind of a thing. A species is a more specific kind of something that is within a genus. Aristotle notices that something cannot be defined by its material components because each component can infinitely be broken down into more and more components(Aristotle 1035b9). Aristotle states the example- a circle can not be defined in terms of semicircles because semicircles would then have to be defined by quarter circles and so on, but a semicircle can be defined in terms of a circle because a circle is the simplest(Aristotle 1035b9). A genus is differentiated into species by dividing the genus into categories or certain types of the genus. Each of these categories or types within the genus are known as species. A species can also be a genus in that it too can be divided into specific categories or types. Those categories or types are also known as species, but can also be genus because they can further be divided into species. This pattern can go on infinitely. A ball is a substance that can be categorized into each setting of play that a ball is used on. So a ball can be categorized into something that is used to score on a soccer field, football field, baseball field, tennis court, basketball court, pool, and golf course. Each of these fields uses a specific type of ball. A golf course uses a golf ball. The definition of a golf ball is the ball that is used on a golf course. The essence of a golf ball is a ball. Images, Imagery, Symbols, and Symbolism in Macbeth Essay -- Macbeth es
Imagery and Symbolism in Macbethà à à à à With its eye-opening plot and interesting cast of characters, William Shakespeareââ¬â¢s play, Macbeth is one of the greatest works one could ever read. But, above all, the aspect of the play is most impressive and overwhelming with imagery and symbolism that Shakespeare so brilliantly uses. Throughout the play, the author depicts various types of imagery and symbolism instances that, eventually, lead to the downfall of the main character, Macbeth. à à à à à à à à à à à Instances of imagery and symbolism are seen throughout the play. Imagery and symbolism are unavoidable features in William Shakespeareââ¬â¢s Macbeth. One of the most prominent symbolic factors in the play is the presence of blood. It has been noted that the presence of blood ââ¬Å"increases the feelings or fear , horror , and painâ⬠(Spurgeon , Pg. 20). From the appearance of the bloody sergeant in the second scene of the to the very last scene , there is a continued vision of blood all throughout the play. The imagery of blood seems to affect almost all the characters in the play. It affects Lady Macbeth in the scene in which she is found sleepwalking talking to herself after the murders of Duncan and Banquo : ââ¬Å"Hereââ¬â¢s the smell of the blood still. All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand.â⬠Also , the blood imagery is present in the ââ¬Å"weird sistersâ⬠, or witches. Most evidently , i t is present in act four, scene one, when Macbeth visits the witches to seek their insight and his fortune for the future. He is shown three apparitions , one of which is a bloody child that commands him to ââ¬Å"Be bloody , bold and resolute : laugh to scornâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ Although blood imagery deals with almost all the characters of the play , no where i... ..., New York, Viking Publishing, 1993. Archetypes in Beowulf Essay
Archetypes stir profound emotions in the reader because they awaken images stored in the collective unconscious. In Seamus Haneyââ¬â¢s translation of Beowulf this is used in the form of character types. Beowulf is a hero and encounters many triumphs with different types of people on his journey in this epic poem. There are three archetypal characters in Beowulf that are particularly effective and intriguing. These are The Creature of Nightmare Grendel, The Mentor Hrothgar, and The Loyal Retainer Wiglaf. The characters are common experiences in the human psyche. The Creature of Nightmare is a monster from the deepest darkest part of the human psyche. Throughout Beowulf, Grendelââ¬â¢s actions and description accurately fits the archetype. The vivid language used in the poem illustrates Grendel as a monster. ââ¬Å"The God-cursed brute was creating havoc:/greedy and grim he grabbed thirty men/from their resting placesâ⬠¦/ (121-123)â⬠. Heââ¬â¢s also depicted as ââ¬Å"a fiend out of hell/ (100)â⬠. This passage acts as an illustration of the archetype in the poem because a demon that steals lives at a peaceful hour is what would happen in a nightmare. Grendel shares similarities with another dark creature from literature, Poseidon. He is known through Greek mythology as an almighty god but also is a monster. In the myth of Medusa, Poseidon took medusaââ¬â¢s virginity forcefully in the temple of Athena, had the blame put on her, and she was terribly punished. The acts he committed were iniquitous. What makes this archetype particularly effective and intriguing is the fact that these monsters are real; except they arenââ¬â¢t in the form of a nightmare or make believe gods. In addition to the Creature of Nightmare there is the Mentor. This individual acts as a teacher or consoler to the initiate. The fit for this archetype is Hrothgar. For the duration of the novel, he acts as role model to Beowulf consoling him to achieve greatness. Hrothgar depicts this archetype when he talks to Beowulf about life and how to be a good king. He says ââ¬Å"â⬠¦understand true values. / I who tell you have wintered into wisdom. / (1724-1725)â⬠and ââ¬Å"Do not give way to pride. / for a brief while your strength is in bloom but it fades quicklyâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ . Being a mentor requires experience so that wisdom can be bestowed onto another and that something is learned. He undoubtedly does this for Beowulf. Hrothgar can be compared to another character in literature. This character is Hagrid fromà Harry Potter. Itââ¬â¢s easy to overlook him but Hagrid turns out to be Harryââ¬â¢s rescuer and first real friend. Heââ¬â¢s the first person to take Harryââ¬â¢s side in anything, and he is the first real impression that Harry gets of the wizard world, aside from the letters. Harry makes use of relying on friendship throughout all of the books thanks to Hagrid. These details make him an exemplary example of a mentor. The Mentor archetype is effective and intriguing because people still have mentors by their side in the form of a mother, father, friend, teacher, or other guiding them through life. Lastly, there is The Loyal Retainers. These people are very important as they are usually a sidekick who has a duty to protect and reflect the nobility of the hero. Beowulfââ¬â¢s sidekick is Wiglaf. He comes at the end of Beowulf and is the only warrior who stays and helps Beowulf defeat the dragon, ââ¬Å"No help or backing was to be had then/ f rom his high-born comrades; that hand-picked troop/ â⬠¦ ran for their livesâ⬠¦/but within one heart sorrow welled up/ (2597-2600)â⬠. He also stays with Beowulf when his last breath is taken. Wiglaf gets this archetype because he protected the hero, Beowulf. He shares very similar qualities with Ponyboy from The Outsiders. He is the main character but when his friend, Johnny, kills someone Ponyboy runs away with him staying by Johnnyââ¬â¢s side till he died even though he could have let Johnny get in trouble by himself. Ponyboy protected Johnny and stood by his side. The archetype, Loyal Retainer, is effective and intriguing because thereââ¬â¢s always somebody that is there for another person in life to protecting them and be loyal. Archetypes are persuasive in the epic poem Beowulf. The Creature of Nightmare, The Mentor, and The Loyal Retainer are common experiences in the human psyche. These archetypes can be connected to other literature. They can also be connected to life. The ideas in this essay matters to the world because as according to Carl Jung people from all over the world respond to certain myths or stories in the same way not because everyone knows the same story but because lying deep in our collective unconsciousness are the racial memories of humanityââ¬â¢s past. These memorie s exist in the form of archetypes.

Regulatory Bodies
ROLE OF REGULATORY BODIES INTRODUCTION Health Professionals such as nurses doctors, Pharmacist and many others are regulated and licensed by regulatory bodies as required by provincial legislation. All nurses are required to be licensed to practice with their designated provincial nursing regulatory body. Legal responsibility in nursing practice is becoming of greater importance as each year passes. In order to provide safe and competent nursing care an understanding of legal boundaries is very essential. It is important to know the law in one state and the authorities enforcing these laws. VITAL ROLE OF REGULATORY BODIES * To ensure the publicââ¬â¢s light to quality health care service. * To support and assist professional members. * Set and enforce standards of nursing practice. * Monitor and enforce standards for nursing education. * Monitor and enforce standards of nursing practice. * Set the requirements for registration of nursing professionals. Nursing regulatory bodies also known as colleges or associations, are responsible for the licensing of nurses with in their respective provinces territory. The Nursing Regulatory bodies receives their authority from legislation. MAJOR TYPES OF REGULATORY BODIES * The central government. * The state government * Institutional Rules * Trained Nurses Association of India * International council for Nurses * American Nurses Association * Canadian Nurses Association * National League for Nursing ROLE OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT The central government is a source of regulatory body in three ways, through. 1) Government service conduct rules 2) The Indian Nursing council Act 3) The English law THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE CONDUCT RULES These are detailed rules of conduct for are government employees. Examples of these are the requirement to maintain absolute integrity, devotion to duty and high standards of moral behaviour. Only a few are applicable to the nursing practice, but all would be applicable to the practice of a nurse employed by the government. INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL ACT The Indian Nursing Council, which was authorised by the Indian Nursing Council Act of 1947, was established In 1949 for the purpose providing uniform standards in nursing education and reciprocity in nursing registration throughout the country. The only national legislation directly related to nursing practice, also provides a basis from which rules for nursing practice can be developed. Among other responsibilities, this Act gives authority to the Indian Nursing Council for prescribing curricula for nursing education and recognising qualifications of institutions with teaching programmes for nursing. This means that the INC has authority to control nursing education and what the nurse is prepared to do. It is important because legal responsibility does finally depend upon what you should be able to do and how you should do it as well as what you are not prepared to do. The INC uses this authority in nursing education but it delegates authority for control of nursing practice to the State Nursesââ¬â¢ Registration Councils. INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL The Indian Nursing Council was authorized by the Indian Nursing Act of 1947. It was established in 1949 to providing uniform standards in nursing education and reciprocity in nursing registration through out the country. Nurses registered in one stat were not necessarily recognized for registration in another state before this time. The Condition of mutual recognition by the state Nurses Registration Councils, which is called reciprocity, was possible only if uniform standards of nursing education were maintained. FUNCTIONS OF INC 1) It provide uniform standards of in nursing education and reciprocity in nursing registration. 2) It has authority to prescribe curriculum for nursing education in all states. 3) It has authority to recognize programme for nursing education or to refuse recognition of a programme if it did not meet the standards required by the council. ) To provide the Registration of foreign nurses and for the maintance of the Indian Nurses Register. 5) The INC authorizes State Nurses Registration Council and Examining Board to issue qualifying certificates. The INC has been given heavy responsibilities for nursing practice and nursing education but it has not been able to exert enough power to support high standards in nursing. ENGLISH LAW The law based upon the English Pattern is the third way in which the Central Government is a source of legal authority. These laws are very specific and make you ââ¬Å"liable for negligenceâ⬠or answerable to the laws for acts of carelessness. The laws summarised below are given for medical practitioners including nurses. 1) The right to refuse to the treat a patient expect in an emergency situation. 2) The right to sue for fees. (Applicable only to private duty nurse or private practitioners: other nurses are salaried. ) 3) The right to add a titile descriptions to oneââ¬â¢s name. Any title, description, abbreviation or letter which implies nolding a degree, diploma, license or certificate showing particular qualifications may be added. (Improper use of these is often prohibited by State Nurses Registration Acts. The right to wear the Red Cross Emblem is given only to members of the Army medical service. 4) Unregistered practitioners are not allowed to hold positions or appointments in public and local hospitals 5) Fundamental duties. a) To exercise a reasonable degree of skill and knowledge in treating patients. The standard held is that exercised by other reputable members of the same profession in similar circumstan ces. b) Once a relationship to a patient has been established, there is an obligation to attend the patient as long as necessary unless the patient requests withdrawal or notice is given of intention to withdraw. ) A practitioner must give personal attention to his cases and answer calls with reasonable promptness. d) Children must be protected from harming themselves. e) Special precautions must be taken in the case of adults who are incapable of taking care of themselves. 6) The Indian Penal Code demands that poisonous drugs be kept in separate containers properly labeled and marked. Care must be taken not to mix with nonpoisonous drugs. 7) There is a duty of secrecy to the patients. Records must be treated as confidential unless the practitioner is called upon to give evidence in court. 8) Dangerous diseases must be reported. (Theses will vary in different parts of the country. ) 9) Nurses as considered solely responsible for their own professional acts irrespective of the employing authority. A fine is the usual penalty imposed for disobeying the law stated above, although imprisonment is also possible. The central responsibility consists mainly of Policy making, palnning, guiding, assisting evaluating and Co. ordinating the work.

Profile of Pope Clement VI
Profile of Pope Clement VI Pope Clement VI is an important figure in Medieval History. Key Facts Pope Clement VI was also known as Pierre Roger (his birthà name). Accomplishments Sponsoring a naval crusading expedition, buying land for the papacy in Avignon, patronizing arts and learning,à and defending the Jews when pogroms flared up during theà Black Death. Occupation: Pope Place of Residence and Influence: France Important Dates: Born:à c.à 1291Elected pope: May 7, 1342Consecrated: May 19, 1342Died:à 1352 About Pope Clement VI Pierre Rogerà was born in Corrà ¨ze, Aquitaine, France, and entered a monastery when he was still a child. He studied in Paris and became a professor there, where he was introduced to Pope John XXII. From then on his career took off; he was madeà abbot of Benedictine monasteries at Fà ©camp and La Chaise-Dieu before he became archbishop of Sens and Rouen and then a cardinal. As Pope, Clementà was strongly pro-French. This would cause difficulties when attempting to broker peace between France and England, who were at that time engaged in the decades-long conflict that would come to be known as the Hundred Years War. Unsurprisingly, his efforts saw little success.à Clement wasà the fourth pope to reside in Avignon, and the continued existence of the Avignon Papacy did nothing to lessen the problems that the papacyà had with Italy. Noble Italian families disputed the papacys claim to the territory, and Clement sent his nephew,à Astorge de Durfort, to settle matters in the Papal States. Though Astorge would not be successful, his use of German mercenaries to aid him would set a precedent in papal military matters that would last another hundred years. Meanwhile, the Avignon Papacy persisted. Notà only did Clement turn down an opportunity to return the papacy to Rome, but he also purchased Avignon from Joanna of Naples, whom he absolved of her husbands murder. Pope Clementà chose to stay in Avignon during theà Black Death andà survived the worst of the plague, though a third of his cardinals died. His survival may have been due, in large part, to his doctors advice to sit between two huge fires, even in the heat of summer. Though it wasnt the doctors intent,à the heat was so extreme that plague-bearing fleas couldnt get near him. He also offeredà protection to the Jews when many were persecuted under suspicion of starting the pestilence. Clementà saw some success in crusading, sponsoring a naval expedition that took control of Smyrna, which was given to the Knights of St. John, and ended its pirate raids in the Mediterranean. Spurning the idea of clerical poverty, Clementà opposed extremist organizations like the Franciscan Spirituals, who advocated absolute rejection of all material comforts, and becameà a patron of artists and scholars. To that end, he enlargedà the papal palace andà made it a sophisticated center of culture. Clement was a generous host and a magnanimousà sponsor, but his lavish spending would deplete the funds his predecessor, Benedict XII, had so carefully amassed, and he turned to taxation to rebuild the papacys treasury. This would sow the seeds of further discontent with the Avignon Papacy. Clement died in 1352 after a short illness. He was interred as per his wishes at the abbey atà La Chaise-Dieu, where 300 years later Huguenots would desecrateà his grave and burn his remains. Behaviorist lesson plan - Essay Example The behavior may be attributed to hyper activeness, curiosity and enthusiasm of young students. Young childrenââ¬â¢s brains are maturing, and they do not have the same capability to control themselves as adults do. As a teacher I should, therefore, understand the importance of teaching children abilities for controlling their behavior while appreciating that they need ongoing guidance and my supervision to stay safe. The child may be overwhelmed, close down and, hence, lash out physically or verbally to the teacher for not placing him in the first position. As the teacher I, thus, need to invest time, effort, compassion and patience to assist the child handle the feelings constructively. Children must be able to identify early interventions to enhance student behavior difficulties in the primitive years at the end of the lesson. The science studentââ¬â¢s reactive aggressive behavior depicts its self through unplanned retaliation by the child due to being denied the first position when going into the lab. One element key in assessing change in aggressive behavior is teacher-students relationships. Behaviorist principles, such as developmental cascade theory have been used to explain persistent problems in early behavior. Theorists propose early behavior drawbacks in early schooling have cascading results that negatively influence subsequent psychosocial functioning and school success. Leadership Styles and Theories for Business Management
Leadership Styles and Theories for Business Management According to Kotter, management and leadership are two distinctive leadership is about focusing on producing change by developing a vision for the future along with strategies for bringing about the changes needed to achieve that vision, using motivation to energize people, not by pushing them in right direction as control mechanisms do, but by satisfying basic human needs for achievement, scene of belonging, recognition, self-esteem, a feeling of control over ones life and the ability to live up to ones ideals. 1. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aims and objective of this assignment to recognize different types of leadership styles. And how do business use these if different levels of the management to grow, succeed and finally to achieve businesss strategic goals and objectives. TASK 1 EVALUATE A RANGE OF LEADERSHIP THEORIES AND MODELS THAT REFLECT CURRENT THINKING. 2 TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP Assumptions People will follow a person who inspires them. A person with vision and passion can achieve great things. The way to get things done is by injecting enthusiasm and energy. Style Working for a Transformational Leader can be a wonderful and uplifting experience. They put passion and energy into everything. They care about you and want you to succeed. Developing the vision Transformational Leadership starts with the development of a vision, a view of the future that will excite and convert potential followers. This vision may be developed by the leader, by the senior team or may emerge from a broad series of discussions. The important factor is the leader buys into it, hook, line and sinker. Selling the vision. 4 Idea of transforming leadership was more interesting in that in his concept both followers and leaders are changed, and also the change is expressed as being for the better in moral way. Followers are changed into leaders, and leaders become moral agents in enabling others to grow as persons. Burns, J. M. (1978). Leadership. New York: Harper Row PARTICIPATIVE LEADERSHIP Assumptions Involvement in decision-making improves the understanding of the issues involved by those who must carry out the decisions. People are more committed to actions where they have involved in the relevant decision-making. People are less competitive and more collaborative when they are working on joint goals. When people make decisions together, the social commitment to one another is greater and thus increases their commitment to the decision. Several people deciding together make better decisions than one person alone. Style A Participative Leader, rather than taking autocratic decisions, seeks to involve other people in the process, possibly including subordinates, peers, superiors and other stakeholders. Often, however, as it is within the managers whim to give or deny control to his or her subordinates, most participative activity is within the immediate team. The question of how much influence others are given thus may vary on the managers preferences and beliefs, and a whole spectrum of participation is possible Discussion Participative Leadership can be a sham when managers ask for opinions and then ignore them. This is likely to lead to distrust and feelings of disloyalty. Democratic Leadership Known as participative style, leader who enables and encourages staffs to participate in decision making. Also keeps staffs informed about everything that affects their work and shares decision making and responsibilities. By doing so, leader produce high quality and quantity work for a long period. Staff likes this leadership style as they received the trust and respond from leader this increase the spirit and morale of the work force. Democratic leader develop and design plans to evaluate staffs performance. Allowing staff to grow on the job and be promoted. Recognize and appreciate the achievements. There are two type of democratic leadership, Persuasive democratic management here the leader makes the decision first and then persuades employees that he or she has made the right decision. Consultative democratic management this involves the group contributing to the decision-making process, with the leader making the final decision. There are some situation that, to avoid using this style, Not enough time to get everybodys input. It is easier and cost- effective for leader to make the decision, rather going to staff. Leader feels threatened by this leadership style. Staffs safety in critical concern. EXPLAIN THE EXPECTED IMPACT OF A RANGE OF LEADERSHIP STYLES ON SPECIFIC SUB- DIVISIONS, ORGANIZATIONS, INDUSTRIES, AND SECTORS. 5For ,an organization to grow need a proper direction guided by a good leadership, Enterprise Rent-A-Car uses different methods of leadership styles to manage its 75,000 employees and fleet of cars over one million around the world. Enterprise has becomes foremost car-hire company and the largest car purchaser in the world. Organizations key objectives: Customer satisfaction Fleet growth Employee development Profitability Autocratic leadership at Co-operate level One of the leadership style Enterprise use is Autocratic style of leadership, where decision is made by the leader alone and staff has to work within the scope of that decision. This happens at the top level of the organization, where CEO wants to implement a practice which will roll all over the organization to achieve organizational objectives, There are some examples, which co-operate level leadership, we can find in Enterprise 5 CEO wanted all branches use ESQi (Enterprise Service Quality Index), the customer satisfaction measure, because it met the business objective. In order to gain commitment to using the process. When the Senior Vice President of European Operations at Enterprise decided on the companys diversity programme, employees were clear that this decision was compulsory and not an option. The Vice President of Corporate Communications for Enterprise established an environmental committee. Its aim was to influence the behavior of the whole organization by reducing waste and improving its carbon footprint. As the industry leader, Enterprise attempts to set high standards when it comes to the impact of rental cars on the environment. All above strategic actions shows the Autocratic Leadership in the organization. Democratic leadership at Divisional level Enterprise use democratic decision making at divisional level. Where the branch manager have autonomy. This means that in many area of operation local managers have power to govern themselves and make changes without refereeing to the senior management. Below incidents shows the application of democratic leadership. A car has been in an accident and a customer needs a hire car urgently. Local managers take a consultative approach to understand the issues and find the right solution for customers who might be upset or worried. A customer wants a vehicle for a weekend break. Branch staff will be more authoritative in recommending a specific vehicle to suit their needs. This helps to satisfy this customer and ensure repeat business. In this process employees feels that, they are more valued, empowered and recognized. This increases the staffs self-esteem and gives maximum service to customer. Laissez-faire leadership This derives from a French word leave alone. This is a loose leadership style. It allows skillful, well trained employees to carry out activities freely within broad limits. Enterprise staffs are decentralized and make many decisions on their own. Some advantages of this leadership are, Leaders dont have to always be watching them Great relationship Motivated More relaxed environment Less direction is required However, this style got a disadvantage; some staff might not be able to make right decision by alone. Therefore individuals within Enterprise teams work to corporate guidelines for dealing with customers. Staff also receives regular training and feedback.Ãâà This type of style is also associated with leaders that dont lead at all, failing in supervising team members, resulting in lack of control and higher costs, bad services or failure to meet deadlines.
